Raymond Lewis Knowles, 59, Green Hill, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been ill for several years. But death was unexpected. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; one son, James, of Klondike one granddaughter, Angie; one daughter, Jenny Kay, at home; two step-daughters, Mrs. Doris Easter of West Lebanon; Mrs. Sandra Shonkwiler, Attica, and a step-son Richard Sexton, Attica; Also surviving are his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jaynes, RT. 1 Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smart, Attica; Mrs. Ellen Wright, Otterbein; a half-sister, Mrs. Opal Clark, of Beaumont, Calif.; five brothers, Hallie, Attica; Howard Newtown, Clyde, Stockwell; Grant, Mellott, and Charlie, Anderson. - jlr
